We've moved to Sandton

After 11 vears at our Illovo store and 3 years at Parkwood, we have moved to our new flagship store in Sandton. Find us at 11 Charles Crescent, Sandton.

As we continue to strive to create the ultimate retail experience for our Johannesburg customers, the time has come for us to incorporate both our Illovo and Parkwood stores into our new flagship store in Sandton.

Our beloved Parkwood store has been instrumental in helping us bridge the gap as we transitionrd from Illovo to Sandton and will officially close it’s doors on the 9th of May 2023.

The new Sandton store is in close proximity to Kramerville's designer mile and easily accessible from major highways from Pretoria and Johannesburg. We also offer secure parking, so make a date to visit us and discover why we’ve spent more than 3 decades defining ways to live beautifully.

What was once a previously unloved warehouse has been transformed into an inspirational showroom dedicated to the Block & Chisel ethos of living beautifully.

A brand new Block Cafe is settled into the corner of the shop to offer you a cosy place to catch your breath and enjoy a barista-made coffee, freshly baked goods and our famous toasties.

You can expect thoughtfully curated room settings, dedicated lighting, rugs and homeware sections. Take a slow meander through our showroom floor where our style experts will continuously create new and inspiring interior scenes you can apply in real life. Our knowledgeable decor consultants will always be close at hand to guide your interior decisions.
