Caring for Linen upholstery
Linen is one of the easiest upholstery fabrics to maintain.
If you want a little extra stain protection, linen does well with most store-bought scotch guarding. However, if you want to spray your linen furniture and upholstery with stain protector, test a tiny bit in a hidden area first to make sure it doesn’t lead to discoloration.

In terms of everyday maintenance for linen furniture, regularly vacuuming or dry brushing is usually the only thing to do. If you’re worried that your linen upholstery may fade over time, consider rotating it in the room so that it’s not always in the direct light. You can also close your window coverings during the direct sun hours of the day.
If you notice your linen furniture has some wrinkles, light steam or even gently ironing can help with that.
If you’d like to freshen up linen upholstery, sprinkle some baking soda and let it sit for a while. Then, vacuum it up. It’ll help remove any odours or faint stains that might be a problem.
Upholstery
To ensure the longevity of this piece, avoid excessive sunlight, dampness and hot or cold conditions. Our sofas are generally made with loose covers for easy cleaning. For best results, dry cleaning only as it reduces the chance of shrinkage. We also advise no spot cleaning. Avoid excessive sunlight as this will lead to the colour fading. The cushion inners are made up of three separate layers. The top and bottom layers contain down and the core is made from a foam mix for extra stability. To maintain the original softness and resiliency of the cushions, hand fluff and reverse cushions regularly. Vacuum to remove surface dirt.

Delivery handled by our Outsourced Logistics Partners is curbside only unless otherwise arranged. This service does not include assembly or package removal unless arranged.
Pick Up:
Pick Up of online purchases may be done at our Cape Town warehouse only. Pick up from our Jhb Illovo store will incur a small subsidized in-transit Cape Town to Jhb cost.
