Description

Antique corner cupboards and corner cabinets are one of those useful pieces of antique furniture that you can use to utilise those awkward corners in a room, when you need additional storage. Antique corner cupboards were first seen in the early Georgian period, in oak with features like dental moulding and figured doors with raised fielded panels. The interiors always had shaped shelves, usually painted and stand on shaped bracket feet if floor standing. Towards the later Georgian era, new features were introduced like the bow front antique corner cabinet. Our Bebingon corner cupboard dates from around the 19th century and will add so much character to an empty space in your home.

Care & Maintenance

Sealed Wood Finishes

Avoid excessive sunlight, dampness and hot or cold conditions. For routine cleaning, use a cloth that has been dampened with water or diluted cleaning polish. Clean spills or smudges with a damp cloth moistened in mild soap or cleaning polish. For nickel and brass hardware, simply clean with a damp cloth. Place a felt or leather pad under all lamp bases and accessories to avoid surface scratches. Polish only every six months with a silicone-free polish, as polishing too often may result in a waxy build-up.
